I am sharing many of my photographs using Flickr. My Flickr pictures do not have the sequence of my web sites. My Flickr photographs are more individual. My Picasa photographs are more personal, maybe they are not as good as the photographs on Flickr or on my web sites. My web logs are individual photographs that I like. In some cases I have a single photograph on all four sites. I am sorting through the differences and similarities between my web sites, my web logs, Flickr, and Picasa web albums. The common thread between each of these tools is sharing my photographs with others. I enjoy sharing and I am getting more courage to share without worrying about whether they are "good enough". Every photograph on my sites I like, for many diverse reasons.

My Picasa Web Albums
Picasa Web Albums
I am sharing more individual and personel photographs using Picassa web albums. There are photographs of my family and photographs, that for some reason that I want to share. The photographs that I share on Flickr are more public. The photographs on my web sites are those that are "complete" or a part of a series.

Wandering In Fairbanks 2005: Stephen Cysewski
Wandering In Fairbanks 2005: Stephen Cysewski
I just finished Wandering In Fairbanks 2005. My purpose is to document the everyday life of Fairbanks. I hope that in 10 or 20 years that people will visit this web site and they will see how it was. Even now as I look through the Wandering In Fairbanks series many of the things I have documented no longer exist.

Creamers Field, during spring, has a short time, while the ground is still frozen, when the forest is covered with water. It is a beautiful time. I love it!

Wandering In Fairbanks 2004: Stephen Cysewski
Wandering In Fairbanks 2004 is done. The web site includes about 500 photographs and a whole year of experience. I feel that the web site captures the feeling of Fairbanks. There are many photographs to download, but you can see the early photographs while the later photographs are downloading.

I have posted many photographs to Flickr. Many of the pictures of Alaska are not posted yet to my web site. There are also many photographs of Thailand. I am working on sorting and editing photographs for some new Alaska web sites. I will also post many new photographs to Flickr.
